Reactive Power Control Relays
Sigma's new generation Reactive Power Control Relays are a technological product that balances active power and reactive power ratios according to facility requirements by switching capacitors and shunt reactors on and off. It offers users comprehensive solutions for all compensation needs in balanced or unbalanced loads, rapidly changing or normally changing loads, facilities requiring SVC, and facilities operating outside inductive and capacitive limits.
The Sigma Reactive Power Control Relay analyzes the system and system requirements. As a result, if there is an error in the system, such as a polarity error, it changes the connections internally. If there is a situation such as the number of stages or power of the capacitor-shunt reactor of the relay being insufficient, it provides recommendations to the user via the LCD screen.
Connects and disconnects capacitors
In SVC types, connects and disconnects single-phase shunt reactors using an inductive load driver, and connects and disconnects three-phase shunt reactors without using an inductive load driver
Measures over 100 energy parameters (current-voltage harmonics, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly energy ratios, tariffed energies, per-phase energies and per-phase energy ratios, import-export-capacitive-inductive-apparent energies, neutral current, phase current voltage-power-power factor values, cos fi, etc.) It has the ability to measure with 0.2% accuracy within 20 ms
Measures total current harmonic distortion (THDI) and voltage harmonic distortion (THDV) and measures current and voltage harmonics separately up to the 63rd harmonic
Alerts the user with an alarm output in case of excessive rise in the internal temperature of the relay, voltage rise, or exceeding the inductive and capacitive power limits
