Sigma's SVC-supported reactive power control relays quickly engage single-phase shunt reactors by triggering them at specific angles via thyristors as needed, thanks to the inductive load drivers they control.
Designed to drive three single-phase shunt reactors, Sigma Inductive Load Drivers independently control the reactor power in each phase. This allows the reactive power required for each phase to be precisely and independently controlled.
Sigma Inductive Load Drivers operate at full performance without being affected by temperature changes within the compensation panels, thanks to their specially designed cooling systems.
