Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs)
Sigma Moulded Case Circuit Breaker Series are manufactured in Türkiye in 1, 2, 3 and 4 pole configurations across nominal currents from 16A to 1600A, in compliance with the TS 1058 EN 60947-2 standard and CE norms.
Also known as circuit breakers, the primary function of thermal-magnetic moulded case circuit breakers is to provide protection against potential short-circuit and overload conditions, in addition to switching the circuit on and off.
In Sigma Moulded Case Circuit Breakers, the service short-circuit breaking capacity Ics which indicates that the circuit breaker can continue to operate without performance degradation following a short circuit is 100% (Ics = 100% Icu).
The housings and covers of Sigma Moulded Case Circuit Breakers are manufactured from BMC (Bulk Moulding Compound) material, featuring high dielectric properties, as well as high resistance to temperature and impacts.
