Selectivity in illegal current protection switches

Sigma Elektrik Selectivity in illegal current protection switches

Illegal current protection switches in the event of leakage currents in the electrical installation, isolated the circuit from the point of connection. However, the entire electrical system is disabled due to the leakage current that occurs in a particular area. Instead of leaving the entire system without energy, selectivity is essential in leakage current applications to leave the electrical installation of illegal current.

Time -dependent selectivity

Illegal current protection switches open the circuit in case of any leakage current without delay. Leakage current protection switches, which we call selective type, disable the electrical circuit after waiting for a certain period of time in case of illegal current occurs. Delayed type of leakage current protection switches on the main panels and in secondary panels, the use of non -delay leakage current protection switches is provided. In the event of any leakage current on the load side of the secondary panels, the illegal flow protection switches in the panel detect leakage currents and allow them to open without delay and insulate the electrical installation in which the error occurs. If the delayed type of leakage current protection switch in the main panel is eliminated by the leakage current on the tali panel during the delay period, it does not open the circuit because it disappears by the leakage current protection switch, so that the entire electrical system does not remain energized and the insulation is provided only within the illegal current status.

Selectivity due to sensitivity

In leakage current protection switches, sensitivity bond is provided by the use of switches with 30mA and 300m illegal flow threshold values. High -sensitivity illegal current protection switches (life protection) on the secondary panels should be used and illegal current protection switches (fire protection) with a sensitivity in the main panels should be used. In the event of a low -valuable leakage current on the load side, the illegal current protection switch is on the secondary panel and will be isolated only part of the error by cutting the circuit. Thanks to this selectivity feature, it is prevented from remaining the whole system without energy.

Both A type and AC type sigma delayed leakage current protection switches to be protected according to the load characteristics to be provided according to the appropriate selectivity is prevented with the delay feature.
