LV Air Circuit Breakers
Open-type circuit breakers serve as main disconnectors in electrical systems and effectively protect electrical equipment against overcurrent, short-circuit currents, and ground faults. They are ideal for safe and efficient use in power plants, industrial facilities, mines, and smart building distribution systems with high energy consumption.
Sigma Open-Type Power Circuit Breakers are manufactured in accordance with the TS EN 60947-2 standard and CE norms. With fixed or drawer-type options as needed, and motorized or manually operated models, they offer safe and flexible use in different electrical systems.
Sigma Open Type Power Switches, thanks to LSIG Protection;
(Long Time Delay), long-term reverse time-delayed overcurrent protection
(Short Time Delay), short-term delayed overcurrent protection
(Instantaneous Tripping Delay) short-circuit current opening feature
(Ground Fault Delay) ground fault protection features
Provide superior protection for your system.
Sigma New 42kA SCA/SMA Series
Thanks to their much smaller and more compact dimensions compared to standard power circuit breakers, they allow you to save valuable space in your panels. Its smaller size and optimized design enable you to develop much more cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Sigma Open-Type Circuit Breaker Accessories
Opening Coil: Used to remotely open the open-type circuit breaker.
Closing Coil: Used to remotely close the open-type power switch.
Instantaneous Undervoltage Coil: Opens the open-type power switch when the voltage drops below 70% of the operating voltage. Delayed types are available.
Delayed low voltage coil + Closing Coil + RTC switch combination (SRTC): When performing a transfer operation on open-type power switches, the low voltage coil and the closing coil must not be activated simultaneously. To prevent this situation, it is recommended to use a delayed low voltage coil + closing coil + RTC switch combination.
Motor Mechanism: Enables the circuit breaker to be opened and closed remotely or to be re-energized after tripping due to a fault.
Mechanical Interlocking: A safety system that prevents two open-type power circuit breakers from closing simultaneously, thereby preventing the collision of different power sources (such as mains and generator).
