Shunt reactors are compensation elements that are used in compensation systems to balance the capacitive load by creating an inductive effect by being activated by the reactive power control relay in case the capacitive load increases. The capacitive effect caused by long underground power lines, UPSs, computers, electronic ballasts and LED lighting is compensated and balanced by the use of shunt reactors.
Sigma Shunt Reactors are produced from 0.25 kVAr to 10 kVAr in single-phase stages, and from 0.25 kVAr to 50 kVAr in three-phase stages.
• Production in accordance with TS EN and European standards
• Long-lasting and resistant to harsh working conditions design
• Single or three phase high permeability air gap design
• Possibility of production at desired current or power values
• Protection from moisture and quiet operation with vacuum varnish
