Sigma new generation Reactive Power Control Relays are a technological product that activates and deactivates capacitors and shunt reactors in order to balance active power and reactive power ratios in line with the needs of the facility.
Sigma Reactive Power Control Relays are offered to the user with features that will provide a complete and comprehensive solution to all kinds of compensation needs in balanced or unbalanced loads, suddenly changing or normally changing loads, in facilities where SVC must be used, in facilities operating outside inductive and capacitive limits.
• It activates and deactivates 3-phase or 1-phase capacitor.
• In SVC types, a 1-phase shunt reactor is activated and deactivated by using an inductive load driver, and a 3-phase shunt reactor is activated and deactivated without using an inductive load driver.
• Sigma Reactive Power Control Relay also works as an energy analyzer and monitors more than 100 energy parameters (current-voltage harmonics, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly energy rates, scheduled energies, energies per phase and energy rates per phase, import-export -capacitive-inductive-visible energies, neutral current, voltage-power-power factor values of phase current, cos fi...) It has the ability to measure within 20 ms with 0.2% sensitivity.
• In addition to measuring total current harmonic (THDI) and voltage harmonic (THDV), it measures current and voltage harmonics separately up to the 63rd harmonic.
Sigma Reactive Power Control Relay; It warns the user with an alarm output in case of excessive increase in the internal temperature value of the relay, voltage increase, or exceeding the inductive and capacitive power limit.
• Sigma Reactive Power Control Relay analyzes the system and system requirements. As a result, if there is an error in the system, such as a polarity error, it changes the connections within itself, and in cases where the relay's capacitor-shunt reactor stage number or power is missing, it advises the user on the LCD screen.
